"Standard Quality" Nokia Music Playback

The message "standard quality" flashes briefly when a new song plays on Nokia Music.  This suggests that there may be some higher quality available, but I can find no evidence of it.  Any ideas?

are you referrnig to nokia music on Symbian or on Windows Phone, because i don't get that message when streaeming music on Nokia Music on Windows Phone 8, and there are no Settings for download quality.

I get the same message on my Nokia Lumia 920 in the top left corner while music is playing in Nokia music. And I've searched as well for a way to change it to a high quality.

you can always leave feature suggestions directly with Nokia by clicking the Nokia Support link at the bottom of this page.

We're asking about a message the app itself is displaying.  The knee-jerk response of submitting a feature request is, as usual, not helpful.

At least i actually responded to your issue, instead of referring you to search these forums as it is a very common question. At the time,there was nothing else that could answer your question, so adding your feedback is a way of doing your part to alert Nokia of the issue.

In the last few days, Nokia has announced Nokia Music+, which has stated that there will be higher-quality streaming utilised in this service,which answers your question.

You're asking in a place which you should be aware is a user to user support forum. Basically shooting down a fellow user trying to offer you a suggestion does not help anyone and could be considered rude at least.

 

If you want answers from Nokia you should talk to them through the contact us link on this page or keep yourself informed through  the many information channels Nokia offers such as conversations.
