Re: Register and sign in with your Nokia account - see instructions here

I cannot find anywhere on the discussions page where to start a discussion. & yes, I am signed up so I do not know why there isn't a segment to start a discussion, which is irritating because I have an issue I need to post up.

First go into the topic where you want to start a discussion, such as "Nokia Lumia" or "Software Updates". In there, just click on the "New Message" link towards the top of the page.

Re: Register and sign in with your Nokia account - see instructions here

hello

question

I know for a fact that if i terminate my Nokia account, i can no longer access my Nokia discussion account. However, im wondering if my posts would be automatically deleted on discussions? and will my account's profile display that i no longer a registered member on the Nokia discussion or will it display that i alredy terminated my account?

thanks :smileyhappy:

Hi Hanni1,

No, your posts will still be visible on the Discussions and there will be no indications on your profile that your account has been terminated.

Re: Register and sign in with your Nokia account - see instructions here

When I try to access the forum with Firefox and click "Sign in"  an empty white box briefly apears but there is no way to log in.  If I try with Internet Explorer the sign in box apears OK and I can sign in, but it never remembers me next time I load the forum.

Can someone help please?

Thanks

What are the add-ons that you are using on firefox? If no-script is one of them, allow lithium.com & nokia.com. You may also try again with all the add-ons disabled.

Just tried that and it works once.  However next time I load the forum, that cookie is back and the problem too.

Depending on your browser you can set them to delete cookies on exit which will always allow you to log in..

For Chrome;

Settings > Advanced settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Cookies > Manage Exceptions

Add nokia.com and select 'clear on exit'

Re: Register and sign in with your Nokia account - see instructions here

account.nokia.com seems to be the problem in my case. When I delete that cookie folder I can sign in, but I can't figure out how to delete at close with Firefox.
