I have a 2013 s60 and bt works fine with the car however the Volvo on call app closes whenever i try to log into it to check trip info. Demo works fine and created account but login and the dashboard flashes up and the app auto closes before you can do anything. Anyone got this working under wp8 ? All advice welcomed

you will have to contact Volvo and ask if they are sure that Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices are compatible with their equipment.

Thanks Adrian, I have sent a question to volvo but this isn't a direct hardware link it's an app downloaded from the windows shop. It lists a full set of requirements on the shop which I believe the 920 surpases but continues not to function. Will post any reply I get form volvo but would be interested if anyone else is experiencing similar issues.

The blue tooth connectivity in car works well although I wish I had separate volume controls for wired headset and bluetooth.

ok sure. have Volvo developed the app have they? if so, the responsibility lies with them as they have confessed to providing support for the WP platform and the certain phones they have said they will.

Well Volvo were kind enough to look into the application and have released a new version. (I had raised with Volvo before posting my first post as well as with Nokia).

The new version also removes the map from the landing page, something that has been complained about causing long loading times for some on other forums.

It's version 1.0.25.0 and arrived in the store around 3/3/2013 depending on locality.

This has fixed the issue fully for me.

You have to admit Volvo customer service is something others could learn from.
