Keep the screen pressed in the middle your screen will return back

Yeheyy !

A blow in the simcard slot seems to work for me. Great tip - thanks, this issue has been bugging me for months.

But seriously Nokia: You can do better than this - get back in the game !

This appears to have worked for me .  Problem only started to occur when I had a protector put on .I did the test and cut the edge . No issues since .  Thanks .

Leetheroy has nailed it on the head, by pressing in the middle the proximity sensor works and the screen does not stay black, unless you cover the sensor! NOKIA any suggestions how to fix this?? I have spent hours trying to resolve this issue, buying new parts and so on!!

Wlado's answer worked for me. Remove SIM holder, blow into recess, replace. Job done. Cheers mate.
