Hey,

I've got a lumia 800 with 7.8 from a nokia care point, however, bluetooth transfer does not seem to be available. I have read a lot through XDA developers, and apparently, most 7.8 phones (even non lumia ones-> don't ask how this is possible) have it working.

When I try to install it (through a link from store), it says the app is not available due to region/carrier/software version restraints.

So, when will this become available?

Changing it to what exactly? I did change the region so it no longer matches my live ID...still nothing.

Neither does the ringtone maker show up. Same error. I obtain the links from windowsphone.com then open them in marketplace. The apps are not present in nokia apps list.

Change language and region to where its available .
There was an app recently i downloaded that was not in my region and changed to suit and it worked.

Any idea which region that might be?

The qr codes are on the site you looked at and the windows forums. There is more info on the regions there.

It appears my problem is not isolated. A lot of users are having this problem.

The nokia apps 7.8 apps seem to be hidden in the marketplace and downloads denies but only for lumia phones.

So I have installed WP 7.8 yesterday but I keep trying install  "Bluetooth Sharing"  and  "Ringtone maker" but the Market says they are not available for my phone. Tried changing the region settings to US and UK with no luck (that did the trick for other apps). If somebody managed to get them please let us know what's the region set on your phone.

Any other ideea on how to get those apps installed ?

Give it a couple of days for the Store to be populated for all countires and you'll get them.
