Bugs introduced with the 3/6/2013 Extras+Info and Display+Touch Updates for Lumia 810

I installed the updates to Extras+Info, DIsplay+Touch, and Nokia Account on 3/6/2013 and noticed some strange behavior after the updates.

- With Display+Touch > Sensitivity set to Normal, after about a day of use the screen will not turn on.  The backlight for the capacitive buttons will turn on, but nothing on the screen.  I have to take the battery out and reboot to get the screen back.

- Also with display sensitivity set to Normal, one time the display did turn on but nothing could be activated.

- On 3/6 when I put the Lumia 810 on the Wireless Charging Shell it over heated after a while and the light on the shell started blinking.  I had to unplug the wireless charger, plug it back in, and reboot the Lumia 810 and after that it seems okay.

Is there a reason to keep the Display Sensitivity to Normal?  I assume it saves on battery life.  I'm don't wear gloves too often.  If it affects the stability of the phone, maybe I'll keep it on high.  I'm not entirely sure if my freezes are related to that setting, but it's really the only thing different from the default settings.

Re: Bugs introduced with the 3/6/2013 Extras+Info and Display+Touch Updates for Lumia 810

hi mate,

have you checked in Settings > Phone Update that oyu have received the Portico update and updated to it? if you have, try performing a soft reset (pressing the volume down and power buttons together until the phone vibrates). if that doesnt' work, then you may need to perform a hard reset (Settings> About > Reset your phone). please make a backup of all personal data first to PC and/or online storage first before doing so.

p.s. having the Super Sensitive Screen tech does not affect battery life at all, in my observations with the phone over the last few months. the other behaviour you have described is most certaintly not normal though.
