Defective New Lumia 822

I decided to get new phone around Xmas, so switched to Lumia 822 and have had audio problems from the beginning. Took phone into Verizon, explained that I could not hear person on the other end when phone would ring and they could not hear me answering the phone. Sometimes I would hear them saying hello but it would be very faint, also they would sometimes hear me but barely. The phone's volume is turned to maximum but that hasn't helped this problem.  I am screaming hello, hello, into the phone, but caller can't hear me and I can hear them only faintly, so not able to have a conversation. Phone is useless to me if unable to call, receive calls and carry on a conversation.  Have taken into to Verizon techs 3 times. They made adjustments, replaced sim card, replacement phone, but same problem. There has to be something that needs some adjustment but so far the techs claimed this problem has not occurred with the Lumia 822 and they don't have a clue how to resolve this.  Phone rings, I answer but can barely hear the caller.  The caller can't hear me either at other end. I am saying helllo, hello, and they are screaming hello, hello back but we can't hear each other talking and too late for me to return it. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions?

hi mate,

if your network carrier Verizon is being less than helpful in the matter, you may escalate the issue by contacting Nokia Care directly: http://nokia.com/support
