I am having the same trouble on my Lumia 800. its worked fine until 09/02/13, i am now recieving the error message and cant use the marketplace. come on Nokia get this fixed.

Uaææææ! I woke up this morning, thinking "Hmmm, maybe i should see if the spotify app has arrived yet", and so it had. Unfortunatly i am getting the same error as you guys. However, in the review section there's several people who seems to have downloaded it(Norway). But when searching for it, it says "0 reviews" before clicking in on it. This is extremely annoying...

Upon checking, this issue is generally being experienced by Windows Phone users regardless of the brand/manufacturer. We have coordinated this one with Microsoft support and they said that they are aware of the issue and is currently working on it. Best action is to wait.

im having a nokia lumia 800....my fone doesnt upgrade to os 7.8 ..... also unable to download apps through wifi.....

Having the same issue as of this morning.

Trying to download Nokias "networksetup" update wont go through. Tried with and without WIFI, no luck.. Been trying for 4 hours now.. I can download other aps and stuff from the marked place.

 

[EDIT: can NOT download other apps, seems to be a general markedplace issue then ]

Same problem in Croatia. I have Lumia 710. Also, no update yet for 7.8...
I'm so frustrated and disappointed...

same in finland, 3G/WIFI the same no download i love my lumia 920 and i'd love if this got fixed to i sucks otherwise.

Mine worked yesterday after changing the language & location settings. Today I got the same error when I try downloading apps.

 

Please Nokia fix this issue as soon as possible. We want to enjoy our new "smartphones" but it's kinda hard to do that without the apps!

Same here is Singapore. Yesterday still ok. Today suddenly cannot download new apps & updates for existing apps.
