Hi all just picked up my nokia lumia 920 and seem to be having some issues wiht it. When i go into find phone i have no ther setting in there at all only the on/off tabe, and when i turn it on and go back one screen it say it if off it is really frustrationg me!

Have anyone had this issues or know or a way i can fix it? thanks

Sorry, having a bit of trouble understanding what you are saying. Exactly what is displayed when you go into Settings?

Definitely some confusion ..as Do not get any such options on my Nokia Lumia 920.

Think there are no settings available on the phone and its always 'Active' .. When in need log-on to your Microsoft account and take necessary action from there ..as seen in Second Attachment ..

Hello,

I had the same issue when I got my device. It's a bug in WP8. When you activate the find my phone, in the settings it will show that it's deactive however it's on.

When I did hard reset my device, I couldn't find this toogle switch anymore. Find my phone now appears as a menu with 2 options to select.

I have no idea why although I still have the same OS version.

yes i did a hard restore and it fixed the issue, and could not see the toggle switch as well. Sorry I was unable to get a screen shot. there was only one toggle switch and did not have the two check boxes that are suppose to be there

Brand new lumia 920. Under find my phone, reads off - inside options, toggle is on.

No other options show up. Can't get it to refresh periodically. Can only find phone from windowsphone.com when clicking refresh, but it should be updating itself just in case it gets lost and powered off.

Where did options go?

I got a replacement phone last Saturday and the date and time was being set to August 31 9:47

I tried soft reset and hard reset, neither of them resolved it. Another problem with that was "find my phone" which shows off on the settings menu, when clicked shows it being turned on. I don't see the 2 options that I had on my first phone.

Got it exchanged today and I have the same problem. The guy said it could be the software issue. Not sure what to do.

Fixed mine with a soft reset , then it hang, had to do the volumedown+camera button reset, still hang, did the volumedown+power+camera, then released power, then release the others. Finally restarted fine and restored backup. Almost thought I had it bricked.

Make sure your backups are fine (settings, apps) - not all settings are saved, review them afterwards. A few apps may not restore - seems like updates. Hold the download, click cancel, then reupdate them from the store. This happened with all the new renamed nokia apps (Here...).

sorry I "re-float" this topic, but I was having the same problem but with a Lumia 720 (RM-885).

Firmware is 1030.6409.1311.0003

I see nobody has attached a pic showing the problem and for this reason I attach it. The words are in Spanish as I am from Spain.

Does the hard reset solve the problem?

Do not think a Hard Reset will solve this as seen different Menu options on different devices (May be different Variants..) as seen in the attachment..
