more 7.8 bugs you should fix (and suggestions?)
-sometimes when playing music, volume down button does not work when phone is asleep.
-headphone volume too weak (need to stress that out)
-some people dont like the music control on lock screen, some love it..can we have an option to choose for that?
-im using FiiO E6 to boost this phone's weak volume, however when not playing sounds, it produces annoying loud popping sounds that almost broke my earphone speakers..other devices doesn't do that with FiiO. O.o
-ill report more if I find something..

Oh, and twitter does not update on People hub even after sync. Example i followed a new account, it wont appear on the people hub..unless i remove and reAdd my twitter account

hmm... im seeing posts for lumia 710 upgrades on youtube, internet sites etc.

are these safe to apply?

quite tempted to upgrade my 710 to 7.8, but i'm afraid to take the risk. since i have this unit jst 2 months ago, still under warranty, and also in contract with my phone carrier.

if anyone suggests to NOT apply those i've posted above, can anyone provide an ETA on when can we have the official 7.8 update for 710? please? thanks

At last i couldnt resist I finally spend more $$ and got my 920 red.

I must say one thing. I like it and it work like a charm together with windows 8 on my computer. No more ZUNE.

This sync is far better than itunes ecosystem in my opinion.

So I just got a notice on my 710 powered by Mobilicity in Toronto, just after midnight EST, Nokia update for Windows Phone... I presume this is 7.8, now installing, I'll report back in the morning.

Nope, false alarm. I guess it was just a Nokia update. "About" screen still shows 7.5.

More existing 7.8 bugs:
-Bing image search does not show images..or only a few..i tried google and it works fine.
-i enabled auto upload to skydrive on my camera settings..but i didn't see ANY pictures uploaded automatically.

Besides these bugs..i can't switch back to 7.5 because i LOVE my wp8 start screen so freakin much :'(

Are you sure this is not set to work only over WiFi ?

..oh pardon. Automatic upload to skydrive is OK. I didn't just noticed the folder within the pictures folder which contained the uploaded images.

i think this feature is the reason why my battery drains much faster... O.o 4hrs use at 100% battery and it's down to about 25% now.

Hi there. I bought the Nokia Lumia 800 on the 21st of December 2012. On December thrty first I got the message that an update was available. I did the update, but it still show Windows Phone 7.5. I annot see any changes on my phone at all. When will the 7.8 update be available?

Try the forum seach function as you will often find your answer. It might als be an idea to actually read a thread you are posting in as the answer might be in there. The guidelines might also help.

That said, the update is expected Q1 2013

Minor bug:
-on some pages when browsing thru IE, then double tap a section to zoom in there, after zooming, the view shifts to the right slightly, maybe about 10px, enough not to see about two letters from the edge of the screen.

Oh and about the volume down button problem i mentioned earlier (not working in sleep mode while playing music), it happens when im using bluetooth headset.

I wish all these will be fixed on the official release of 7.8
(i dont know if the developers see these reports though )

This is Great NEWS, Phones with WIN 7.8 are already there in stores at India. Why the website not showing the updated version in specifications? Not expected such loose ends by NOKIA. Do you want to Survive or not? People are tech savvy and will gather info. No Bluetooth sharing was a let down by LUMIA, but with it resolved in 7.8, please market it...Why you want us to teach NOKIA simple things...
