Hello,

I have a problem, a few days ago my camera was working fine, but from yesterday when i try to open the camera, it's opening and closing imediatly... what it's wrong ?  what i need to do ?

Please help me with this issue.

Start by restarting your phone. That should solve the problem.

what do you mean by restarting my phone ? If you mean by closing and opening i already do that, and still not work.

Ok. Try a soft reset then, by removing the battery for a few seconds.

I have made a soft reset and remove batery for 2 minutes. Now it's opening the camera but it's a black screen...

I can open the camera settings, and all the stuff, but it's a black screen....

And when i hit for the video recording, it exit...

Hi Guys,

Have you tried resetting the camera?

Go to settings and then scroll across to applications and then scroll down to pictures+camera. From there scroll down to the bottom and reset camera.

Let me know if this helps.

Coming to this Nokia support page I demand a definite answer from Nokia.

I do not like to have answers that has not been tested before.

I am having the same problem. Is there any solution to this problem yet?

The only way that i found to fix the problem is to reset the phone. However right after the first windows restart (without any changes, applications installed etc) the problem reappeared. Please look into this with high priority. I can't go ahead with losing all my data every time my phone runs out of battery.

Same problem with unstable camera. It's true that a camera reset usually restores the functionality, but it can't be a feature of the camera app to behave this way, surely? Should the phone be returned to Nokia for a refit? Anyone tried doing so?

Many users have been facing the problem, I did face it too when I was using this device. But this thing has been already fixed. Those who are still facing the problem can read the fix here.

Do let me know if anyone still faces the problem.
