I wonder if you know how one could clean the Lumia 800 or 900 from skin grease stains. As soon as you pick the phone up with your bare fingers, the normal skin grease leaves a mark on the phone and when you take a cloth to wipe it off it seems to be worked into the polycarbonate shell and leaves stains. In German I would say it looks "speckig".
That's why the wonderful looking nice matte finish of my Lumia was gone within 5 minutes of unpacking it. Is there a foolproof way to remove these stains? I think everybody will suffer more or less from it depending on the condition of your skin. It is probably very bad for women who have the habit of bathing their hands in skin cream every 20 minutes.
As Nokia is always imaging people using the Lumias without the rubber case as protection I wonder if they just ignore the issue (and expect the buyer to do the same) or if they have a method of getting rid of the grease stains I don't know.
thanks for telling me

I find wiping phone with a piece of Kitchen Roll dipped in a solution of warm water with a little washing up detergent works well enough. Obviously do not soak the paper towel, just dampen it, water and electronics don't go well together, but just wipe all over the phone quite hard then use dry kitchen roll/cloth to buff clean. You may be able to purchase specialist cleaning fluids, but a little water and washing up liquid works fine for me

Try screen wipes for TV/monitor/spectacles or isopropyl alcohol wipes.
Or whiteboard cleaner.
Or a monitor cleaning spray with some kitchen paper.
Old thread but some people get here through google maybe:
The best solution I found is using a rubber eraser and try to remove the stains with it!
Yeah it sounds a bit weird but any way it works!
