I have stored all my contacts in Nokia Suite and now want to "sync" them to my new and fine Lumia 800. Any idea how to do this ?

Do you have a google account setup on your Lumia??
There should be an option in Nokia Suite to export all contacts to a CSV file
Export your contacts from Nokia Suite
Log into your Google/Gmail Account in a Web Browser on your PC
If in the Gmail Tab, Click on 'Gmail' at the left hand side under the Google Logo
On this screen you should now see any Google contacts if any.
At the top of this list there is a button for adding a contact and another button Labelled 'More'
Click this and select 'Import'
Browse to your CSV file and import your contacts
When your phone next syncs with your Google account, All the new contacts should be copied across

Last Nokia: Nokia Lumia 800
Current Phone: A Non Nokia Device

I found this way very easy.
steps to copy contacts from nokia suite using nokia device (supporting bluetooth) to Lumia.
#1. Open Nokia Suite and Connect the Nokia Device , say Nokia XYZ, which has bluetooth.Select all the contacts in the Nokia Suite, Right-Mouse-Button click and copy them all.
#2. Go to Lower Tab which shows the Contacts present in the Nokia Phone connected to Nokia Suite.
#3. Right-Mouse-Button Click on the Contacts in XYZ Device and paste them.
The Contacts are now copied to you Nokia XYZ Device. Now turn on the Bluetooth and Transfer the contacts from the Nokia XYZ to Nokia Lumia.
