I had Skydrive installed on my PC and Zune decided to install everything from that onto my phone, the problem is I can’t get rid of the stuff now.

I’ve had to remove Skydrive from my computer now and tried Zune again but it will wont remove from my phone.

My question is how do I remove it and why should I be forced to use Zune in the first place, why can’t I the customer be trusted to put my own music and images on my phone?

If I have to keep resetting this phone to remove stuff I will be taking it back to the shop and getting another Sumsung, the Lumia seems to be more locked down than the iphone

What phone are you using?

... and what sync settings do you have configured (on Zune and for pictures to share to skydrive on handset?)

It's the 800 and the setup was set to sync betweeen the Picture and Music folders but as I said the Pictures had Skydrive in.  I later removed this but can't get rid of alll the rubbish it put on my phone because its locked down by Micro$oft
