These things are basic stuffs where all customers expect on a mobile no matter what company is it. I was a Nokia lover but not now :smileysad:

Please let us know if it is me who unable to find the options to send files via bluetooth or there it really does not support file transfer via bluetooth. Please help!!!

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

To send files via Bluetooth you first need to turn Bluetooth on in Settings > Bluetooth. All you need to do now is go to the location of the file you wish to send and tap Menu (three white dots) > Share > Bluetooth.

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

Yes I already did that by turning Bluetooth ON before everything and then went to pictures for sending. It worked for pictures, still I am unable to find this transfer via bluetooth option in "share" for music tracks and videos in both "music and videos" and "Nokia music", even if my Bluetooth is ON already.

Can you help? :smileysad:

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

Hi,

    Thank you for replying.

Yeah may be the apps music & videos, nokia music are copyright protected, but what about the track list in it. Those music tracks(.mp3 files) are stored by me on my SD card from the PC.

What is the work around to make this happen? Or is there any alternate for 'File Manager' in old symbian or java phones?. My other phone is Nokia E71 and I use to send mp3 files from the list itself in that phone(the mp3 player, real player in it). Please help me as I am a long term Nokia user.

How to transfer via Bluetooth?

To transfer an MP3, you need to go to Music and Videos, select the track you want and start playing it. Then tap Menu > Share > Bluetooth.

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

Hey :smileyhappy:

Thanks man... I found it. But some slight difference. To be exact, first turn ON bluetooth from settings > Bluetooth.

Then go to Music n Videos, select the track and start playing it, tap on the Music/artist name on top of the player, you will be directed to another page, probably under 'albums', tap on  'songs'(on top), just press on the current track name you see there for a second, you can see 'share' option will pop up and send via bluetooth... tadaaa :thumbsup:

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

I a pretty sure your 620 has NFC. You should be able to share pics and music with other Lumia phones using Tap Send

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

1. Go to settings and turn on bluetooth.

2.Go to Music + Videos

3. Select the song you want to share via bluetooth and play it.

4. Now TAP ON THE SONG NAME in this window. A new window will open.

5. On this window go to SONGS

6. Keep on pressing the song you want to share.

7. Select Share

8.Select Bluetooth and select device you want share with.

Tested AND WORKING 100%.

You can't send multiple files at once using Bluetooth. You can only send one file at a time.

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

What format is it? If it is an unsupported format it has probably gone into "Other".

Re: How to transfer via Bluetooth?

Hello
I tried to transfer a wav audio file from my windows 8 to my Nokia 920
It seems to have transferred because after it finished it opened up on my phone
I  closed it and left to do something else
Now i want to open it and its nowhere to be found
music program search can not find the title
its not in the media folder as someone suggested on a different forum
So i transferred again and same problem
It seems i now have 50 extra mb on my phone and no way of finding the files

very frustrating, time wasting
please help, many thanks
