Internet sharing (tethering) extremely slow

Hi,

 

I bought a new Lumia 800. With the phone's own browser the internet is quite fast (1 to 5  Mb/s). When I connect my laptop to internet using Lumia's internet sharing the speed is very slow (0.1 to 0.2 Mb/s). Network is "3G" or "H" and the signal strength both in mobile network and wifi network are excellent. I tried turning the Wifi protection off, but it doesn't make a difference.

 

On my previous phone (an old Samsung) tethering worked fine and it was a lot faster.

 

Any solutions for this? Anyone experienced the same? Should I take it to Nokia Care?

 

The phone seems to have the latest updates..
