Hi all,

If anyone encountered this problem?

I have 920 and JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia.

When I play music with Bluetooth, I can hear periodic static and pop sounds.

However, when I connect the phone directly with the speaker with wire, those static sound goes away.

Could this be the interference from WIFI or other issue?

One could only presume interference tbh.

Would go with what Jimmy has said here. Check for any possible sources of interference, do you have the speaker placed in an area with a lot of electrical devices such as the WiFi or devices with communications radios inside them? Best to put it in a more isolated area.

Update:

After I convert the MP3 files to WMA, problem resolved.

Does that mean WP8 support WMA more than MP3, sad to know that?

I did the exact same thing to get rid of the "snap, crackle, pop" sounds I'd get playing back mp3s. But I just can't live with that as a solution, so I sent my 920 in to Nokia for repair. I've got a colleague at work with the same phone, and he's never had problems with BT. Gotta be the BT radio, don't you think?
