I been using 3G on my Lumia 710 since i bought the phone, and everything was great, i get nearly 4mbps speed on my 3G.

But, for the last two weeks my Data connections is dead slow, and also i cannot open any webpage or bing search.

i get the H icon at the top and i have tried disabling and re-enabling the data transfer button on the settings menu for many times still cannot solve the problem

I have a Lumia 800 also that phone had the same Carrier and 3G connection and it works fine.

But my lumia 710 has this problem.

Maybe you reached your data limit for the month that will slow the connection down a lot. Contact your carrier and check with them.

Note that even "unlimited plans" have a limit.

I activated a new 3G pack with 2 GB limit usage, and i checked with my Carrier account website and i have used only 30MB.

Even though i have got the same problem,the thing is it is working fine when in my laptop while connected via internet sharing through my lumia 710.
But data connection is not working onto my cellphone........
So try internet sharing enabled and then try to connect internet wirelessly on your systtem once if itt works then it is  the same problem which i am facing.
Just try it n go ahead .
I will share itts caause when i ll go to checkit up in the nokia service centre.

Hi Adisht, I tried  your steps and am facing same problem. Dont have a solution yet. the internet sharing works fine with my laptop but doesnt work on my lumia 710 itself. Please share if you arrived to a solution.

I have the same problems as vigmia after a week its speed is remarkably reduced.., I even tried via internet sharing still in vain..., got any idea other then those suggestion...!

Hi Leitam,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.

What symbol is showing on your device when you are getting these slow speeds? Have you check with your network provider as they maybe experiencing slow speeds or some sort of traffic management? Also check with them your data plan and see if you are within this.

I am having the same problem with my lumia 710, recently I change new Sim card from network provider and I had good speed for about 2 days and now its very slow even my emails is not updated on time.

I had the same issue but I can solve it by activate the Flight Mode on Settings and deactivated it again.

Maybe it was just me but this may help you too.

What about the lumia710 Bluetooth can you transfer pics only on cellphone without using the computer?I'm a new user concerned and not so technical.

I have the same problem. I have an Iphone and have moved to Windows to get better SkyDrive use (and excel availibilty).

If I place my Iphone and 710 side by side, I get the same number of bars signal strength, but the Iphone has 3G, but the 710 shows H (can't remember what this is for).

I can't access skydrive files on the 710, but can on Iphone, also Shareprice works on Iphone but not on 710.

Both are on the same phone network (Orange UK), so seems to be a Nokia issue.

Any help from the Nokia support team or other users in this forum would be appreciated

For your 1 query- H shows its connected to 3.5G network. If H is in a box then it means you have an active data connection.

Even I have same problem, internet is too slow, rarely able to connect & synchronise emails, Is there any solution please ?

Nokia Moderator , can you please check if Virus attack is causing this problem, or any other downloads / uploads are running at the backend.

Solution found....get a microSIM from your operator....dont use your cutted old SIM....it will help....
