the soft keys change is an issue if like me you like to use the phone on high brightness at all times. Now when in a dark room you can no longer see the soft keys. why should I have to change the screen brightness when I prefer high. Surely this should be a user chosen function and not one just forced upon you.

Well,I just updated to this new f/w and to my dissapointment i noticed that camera has got worse, than it used to be. Under low dim lights without flash pictures were a little brighter and a bit yellow, now they're darker and greenish, which looks not as good as yellowish. I specifically took pictures of same exact place before and after update just to compare. This is very sad...
Unfortunately, they didn't fix stuck autofocus in videomode, when i first tried it it worked, now i tried it again, and still, stuck again, it workes only after you switch it off, then back on.
Also, i haven't seen this discussed, anyone knows what "stateofhealth" in new diagnostics/detailed battery info tool means? It shows 356 for me, is it good or bad? And what is this "cycle count" , for me it's 65535??
Also, Nokia Drive still can't work off-line, i thought i read somewhere they fixed it?

Hey Orka, I get those same figures in Detailed Battery so hopefully they are good!
Hmmm, update on the battery capacity.. Full Charge Capacity keeps changing, trending in the downwards direction! Now dropped from (IIRC) 1492 mAh to 1400 mAh. Remaining Charge drops as expected.
I'll give the camera a go tomorrow. Never expected much from a CZ Tessar lens anyway! It would have made more sense to make it a better lens and half the resolution.

To take screenshots on windows phones you need to get the phone developer unlocked then side load a screenshot app.
I paid $9 to get mine chevron unlocked which doesn't void the warranty but that service is currently unavailable. Another option is to register as a developer with Microsoft and open an app hub account, this costs significantly more.
Any other free methods of opening the OS up to non market apps may void the warranty and cannot be discussed on this official forum.

Hi. I've had the same issue of battery capacity (full charge) falling from 1480mAh to 1360mAh after the 11500 update and the soft key backlight not working on medium or high brightness modes. So the update to fix battery issues and improve functionality, in my opinion, has not worked. Not happy.

Try this.
Stop looking at the Battery stats but instead use the phone as per your normal usage pattern and see if lasts longer than before. The battery level is not consistent and I suspect it's inaccurate.
We already know the battery is rated at 1450mAH so why are people going crazy over inaccurate battery readings?

Thats the problem with diagnostics, why worry about 50mA, what's that 15 minutes less use?
These cells are not all exactly the same capacity, but they will be within 1-2% of the manufacturers value.
The biggest consumer of power is the screen and keeping brightness low helps conserve power, I easilty get 24 hours out of my lumia, but then I don't use as a games console!

Hello,
I am new on this forum. I have my Nokia Lumia 800 in black colour for two weaks now. I use it in Slovenia but mobile is German based from T Mobile. I did not recieved the newest update yet.
My Nokia charges to 1336 tops and I notised when my "batery saver" say it is 100% full the charging diagnostics are around 1220, then I leave a phone charging and it charces to around 1330 every time. I send around 20 sms every day, manualy check 3 linked e-mail accounts around 10-15 times a day. I make around 5 calls a day and my Lumia gets around 24 hours at least. When my usage is not as high I can use my Lumia if I unplug it from charging at night before sleaping next two full days and I have to chrarge it againg the second day in the evening. So I am very happy with the battery. I also have to say that during the 8h sleap my battery lose max 5%. My battery saving is allways on and brightness is set at medium.
There are three thing that botter and they are that my MMS service is not working, (internet is fixed with manual apn), market is showing me German prefered apps and rewiews are written in german and missing the apps like Skype and Opera Mini.
