I havent read the full thread, however has any one notice that when using tunein radio app the volume at 1 is still quite loud, i never noticed it before. Im in windows 7.8

can u give us solution about low quality music. I don't think anyone is here for hel us. U are saying that its a smart phone, but no its not a smart because we can't pause while shooting video, we dobt have equalizer in this phone. We having a low quality sound in our phone. We can't share or receive our docunents, video. Then how can Nokia say its a new generation smart phone, i think we have gone back 10 years after using this phone. Nokia please take a second look at 7.8. We beg you Nokia pleased.

Further to my post re car radio, I've now tried my other, more occasional usage.. via Line In into the radio in the kitchen. Currently it's so quiet, even with everything flat out, that there's no point trying to listen to music while cooking!

Why did they even call this Nokia Support page ~ when support doesn't exist? I had loved my Lumia 800, until the 7.8 update. Getting those resizable tiles us definitely not worth the music level I had when my phone was still on 7.5. This is RIDICULOUS! I wanna flush my Lumia 800 down the toilet!

Got my lumia 800 about 2 weeks ago, only bought it because 7.8 was available. Did an immediate upgrade so don't know what earlier versions were like. But its not loud enough, even a busy coffee shop environment makes it hard to listen to.
Will there be a fix or do I go e up and returm the phone?

Has anyone found a fix, or atleast a workaround to restore the audio volume back to how it was in 7.5 OS? I read some comments about downgrading back to 7.5 and then upgrading to 7.8 without installing the nokia updates. Has anyone tried this, and has it worked? I heard those who tried were unable to use the bluetooth share app, which i absolutely don't mind AS LONG AS IT RESTORES THE AUDIO. Please let me know if this too worked for you guys

@iamjaesenph: Yes, it works that way, if you install 7.8 and ignore the Nokia FW update later, the audio works as on 7.5. My friend has tried that. Only visible problem for him was that BT file transfer is not working.

Anyway, problem of this approach (at least for me) is that you need to "refurbish" the phone first in order to go back to 7.5 and then do the upgrade == losing the data. I am still hoping Nokia will acknowledge and release FW fix, I really don't want to lose all apps data again.

The nokia right now is to ignore this problem. Not answering or talking on EU laws as an excuse.

I think they'll regret it if you do not do an update, but ok ... they know what is!
