My Lumia has been updated to new ver. 1600.2483.6106.11600 on Wednesday 19th. Before that Full Charge Capacity show 1512 mAh, and phone was charging to 1250 mAh level. After update(1st charge) Full Charge Capacity show 1480 mAh, and phone charged battery to this level. After 1 day, Full Charge Capacity run down to 1372 mAh and still running
. My remaining time to phone off reduced from 1d17h to 1d4h.
Phone is enable to work more than 1day. Something is wrong, I'm disappointed. Others user who have made changes, says that they phones starts work better- Remaining time increased to 2-3 day.
Someone have solution for this problem?

Hi. I have also experienced this problem after the .11500 update. (19/01/12). My full battery capacity before the update was 1480mAh and now its showing 1362mAh. Not impressed, especially after the first update fixed the original battery problem.
Also it appears that a bug has been introduced to the phone whereby the backlight for the 3 softkeys (back, home, search) is non functioning on the medium and high settings (it works on low). Currently its on auto, but the brightness is too low for my tastes. Why this very visible problem was not picked up in the Nokia test-labs before roll-out astounds me!
Nokia - can you explain why that after your .11500 update my battery is now worse off and the functionality of the phone has deteriorated??

Try this.
Stop looking at the Battery stats but instead use the phone as per your normal usage pattern and see if lasts longer than before.
The battery level is not consistent and I suspect it's inaccurate.

Good advice- unfortunately, there is still problem. I didn't expect that my phone will work 7 days with Max performance- I need two days from 7 AM in first day to 9 PM in second one.
Yesterday my phone has been switched off in the evening, after 18h. Today, (now) I have 60% battery, after 6h. In every day I made ~30 minute of calls, ~30 SMS, twice sync my mail(~5MB). Data transfer by network is on, WiFi is connected by 8h. Push mail is off. Is it as much?

Hi, I can't give much advice on your usage pattern as everybody has a different one. Everything we do on our phones will definitely consume power. All I can say is that you should use your phone as per your daily usage pattern and not worry about the battery level as I believe it is still inaccurate even after the update (Checking on your battery level often wastes power too).
However, it is VERY accurate when telling you when the battery has gone critical and the phone will shut down. You will get a notification telling you your battery is critical and needs to be recharged. This is the point in time when the phone will power down within 5 minutes of that message.
Previously before the 11500/11501 update, the phone was unable to tell when the battery was going critical and instead just shut down when it went flat.

Ok, ok. It doesn't matter for me if there is 1500 or 1200 mAh. My phone just work shorter after update- I didn't change my usage (not increased). I wondering if I'm only one? Maybe it's another software problem for some group of IMEI, or maybe hardware(I hope not)? I'm looking for solution

I'm speculating that the battery will take a few days to normalize itself after some sessions of usage and charging. My charge capacity keeps jumping about but as long as the phone lasts from 8am to 6pm, I'm fine with it.

1600.2483.8107.11501 is what you will get from a Nokia Care Centre. There is no difference.

My capacity dropped from 1520 down to 1452. I don't care about the numbers, but I experience similar issues like the ones described from ppisniak. I was happy with the battery life, but since I applied the update, it really sucks. I installed the update on Wednesday and on Thursday morning the battery was down to 13%, where it was usually around 80% when I woke up. On Thursday I thought it might be a one time issue after the update, but the same happened on Friday morning. And today the phone was switched off when I woke up 3 hours later then I do on a weekday.

I think, I just found solution for my problem. Yesterday I made full phone flash. After that, Lumia showed me remaining time nearly 2 days . After 12h, there is still 82%(I made few short calls and SMS, checked my @).
I will wait until next 2 full battery charge, with conclusion, but probably there is some problem in update with small group of Lumia units.

It's not only your and mine problem. I read few forums, and there is more users with that same issues. Advices like: Don't look at charge level, try to use normaly are popular and not useful.
My Samsung Wave S8500 with 1,5A battery worked 3-4 days, so Lumia should loosely work 2 days (min. 36h).
I was flashing. It's not official way, and you're doing it at your own risk. Be careful or better order it to your local Nokia Care Point .

Hi,
I am from India and bought my 800 last week. I got the update a couple of days ago. The phone is basically junk from that point on. I am having a total battery usage of about 14-15 hours on minimal usage. Basically i cant last the day without battery running off.
The full charge capacity shows 1379mAh. I have switched off every thing that could be switched off. Put the battery saver at the full setting. Iam on 2g. I am NOT using location services, wi-fi, bluetooth, automatic email updates, high backlight setting.etc. etc.
No respite. Mine is a fixed line phone I guess. :-(
There went my 2 months hard earned savings in nokia's pocket for serving me junk. I was better off in Apple's clutches i feel.
This thread tells me that i am not alone. Is there a way we can get these nokia folks to respond?
Thanks!

Hello, I am experiencing the same problems that others have mentioned about battery life being worse since the latest update. Prior to the update I manage to get 17 hours out of it before it needed to be charged, which is still nothing compared to the 36+ hours that some have reported. However, since the update it only lasts about 12 hours, which is exactly what the battery saver section of the settings menu reports.
12 hours is not an expectable amount of time for a new device. What happens when the phone is 6 months or a year old and the batter only has 80% of its original capacity remaining? With regards to the batteries current 'full charge capacity', it is all over the place. Prior to the update it was over 1500 mAh and now it can be anywhere from 1483 to 1414, with the number trending down at far to quick a rate to be considered normal.
Nokia, everybody in this forum deserves to know what is going on, so please make an effort to tell us.
