My nokia lumia 800 battery icon and battery saver page show 100% charge always and the phone gets dischraged after usage. There is no low battery warning. Once the battery is completely discharged the phone switches off and if you put in on charge even for a minute the phone shows 100% battery again. The phone has been reset numerous times and has been taken to nokia care as well couple of times. It runs on the latest software. Really **bleep** off with this battery issue.

Sounds like a faulty battery. I suggest you get in touch with your local Nokia Care Center.

I have taken it to nokia care twice but they say its just a software issue and they show me some meter saying battery is fine. But my issue is not reseloved by software resets and i am sick of running around them

Tonight my Nokia 800 just died out of the blue. It was showing full battery and then screen went blank and wouldn't restart on the charger. I've come onto my laptop and to my dismay I've seen other users have had something similar happen. After reading some of the tips, I eventually restarted by holding the power and down volume, but showed the battery was at red line on the screen (even though it was at 100% prior to dying). As soon as it restarted it is showing the battery life at 75% but its been on the charger for 15 minutes and the battery icon has increased it's charge - ie its at 75%. All seems really weird. I love this phone, but its my only phone and I'm a little concerned that its not going to restart and that I too am sufferring from the battery issue that it appears a lot of other users are having. Like some of the other comments, I am a loyal nokia user and was so excited when this phone was coming out and hung on to my old nokia (E5). My software is up to date. I wonder if Nokia should be doing a recall as obviosuly there is something wrong with the battery on the 800. Should I just take it to Telstra or send it to Nokia Care? Is there even a Nokia Care in Australia?

The phone has come back after spending 2 weeks in nokia care. The battery issue is solved but the phone picked up another weird issue for which i have created another thread. Really frustrated with this phone now
