Lumia 800 touch screen issues

hi guys,

Just received a Lumia 800 but im having an issue with its touch screen i recon it possibly has a faulty screen of some sort.

99% of the screen works perfectly as it should however the bottom just slightly left of centre doesnt respond properly, for example if i try to add a contact when im trying to press the little + button i can tap it 10-15 times and it wont work, or ocassionally it will just press the search button instead (without me being on the search button)

the same happens when i try and press the little floppy disk button to save anything, this happens in the contacts app, xbox app, basically anything that uses that part of the touch screen.

is this a common known fault that im going to need a screen replacement?

ive tried a hard reset with no fix.

Sounds like a faulty touchscreen. A visit to your local Nokia Care Point might be in order. You can locate your nearest care point using the link below.
