I updated my phone to the latest firmware.

It not only resolves the ringtone issue also increases battery life too.

Is this update available for network branded phones or just unbranded, unlocked handsets as when I check for updates, none are available.

The update is also not showing up for me. I'm using a network branded (singtel) lumia 800.

As such a minor update some network providers will probably choose to skip it and wait for next major update.

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!
