My wife and I have recently got the Lumia 820 on two year contracts and no matter what we do we cannot get the phones to recoginse that a Micro SD Card has been fitted.

I've tried 8gb class 4, 16gb class 4 and a 32gb Class 10 and non are recognised by the phone.

One phone I could inderstand being faulty, but two bought on the same day.

Class ten not good its an overkill,reset your device and it should pick up sd card.

My new Lumia 520 also had a similar problem ; it failed to recognise any of the SDHC cards that I tried. Finally I reset my phone as mentioned in other posts  in this forum and it worked!.
