I got my new Lumia 820 today, and when I tried listening to music using headset the sound was mono, and only came out from the right headphone. The problem isn't in the headphones, since I tried both the Nokia ones that came with the phone and others. They all work just fine on my iPod. Has anybody had the same problem? Any suggestions? I couldn't find settings concerning wether the sound is mono or stereo.

Definitely stereo. Check the headphone socket for any dirt. If that does not help, try a soft reset by shutting the phone down by holding both Power and Volume Down buttons pressed. If that doesn't help either, take your phone back to point of purchase for a replacement.

If your using any apple product the sound was never right cause they simply do not work correctly,ensure the headphones are fully inserted.
