As all networks will soon be running 4G will my Lumia 900 ( bought July 2012 unbranded ) be compatible? Am hoping the internals are, and can be activated by a firmware update?

Unfortunately not.

Only the AT&T specific Lumia 900 has LTE support. The global variant does not.

Thanks all for ya info, yep guess i'll have to upgrade to a Lumia 920, I sure hope that in time the 920 is updated to allow the internal FM radio to be used, as thats the only small negative for me with that handset, other than that in my humble opinion windowsphone is a quick clean brilliant OS & im well happy with my Lumia 900 ( running 7.8 )
