I got the Lumia 900 on the first day of the launch and have been liking the phone so far besides two big issues that I am facing.

 

Would appreciate any help on these if someone has been able to resolve.

The issues are:

1.) BMW Bluetooth Integration: I have a 2010 BMW and my Lumia 900 just fails to produce voice when integrated with BMW inbuilt Bluetooth. The bluetooth works beautifully with all my other phones I have : iPhone, Windows Samsung Focus (1st gen), Blackberry Bold 2

 

Tried reaching out to MS and Nokia teams with no resolution.

 

2.) Headset issue: Everytime I use a headset to receive a call (since the bluetooth doesnt work) the sound thru the headset comes with a jarring noise. I had taken my phone in the MS store and demoed them the issue. they gave me a replacement which worked file till I updated the firmware.

Now I am facing the same issue with this new replacement. I tried two different headsets but have the same issue. The same headsets work great on my last Windows Focus phone or iPhone.

 

I have tried reaching to Nokia and dont think they have a solution as I didnt get a definitive answer. Even opened a ticket for these issues.

 

If someone is experiencing the same or has found a resolution - would greatly appreciate if you could share.

Guess the key is that you said it works fine until you updated the firmware. My guess is they screwed something up and we are going to see a lot of bluetooth fixes in the next firmware release (probably with Tango).

 

Haven't experienced any problems in my 09 335i Coupe but 09 to 10 is a big difference...

I would say using the Nokia Lumia 900 has become a safety hazard for me, as if I have to talk on the phone while in my car, the only way for me is to not pick the phone or hold my phone.

 

Nokia team hope  you are reading this and can solve this issue.

In the the beginning the bt-connection is created, but when the phone rings the connection disappears.

DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!!!

 

IF I CAN'T GET THIS FIXED SOON I'LL TAKE THE PHONE BACK TO THE DEALER.
