I have the White Lumia 900 but also had this problem with the Black. (love the phone btw).
Inconsistently and specifically with recurring Exchange/Outlook reminders, they will work for a while and then stop working. I can't seem to find a pattern.
Never had this problem with my Samsung Focus.
Using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010 (Office 365).
Anyone else have this? Nokia - any ideas?
thanks
Peter

It might be related to connectivity issue of Lumia 900, did you update the software already?
Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted!
If you find it helpfull, it's not hard to click the STAR..

I've had one missed reminder so far on my black 900 in six weeks of ownership. It was a one-time event that I added to one of my Google calendars via the phone for an event a couple of days into the future. Set it up for a one hour reminder, and it never notified / popped-up when the time came. I realized that I had missed it about 15 minutes later, opened the event, and yup, it had a reminder for one hour set on it. My phone was turned on but in the locked state, sitting on my desk during the time period when it should have popped up the reminder.
FWIW, This was well after I installed the software update. Also, I do sync with an Exchange 2010 calendar as well as several Google calendars, and haven't seen this problem before or since.

Yes - update was done.
And there are no connetivity issues that I am aware of... Connectivity should not affect appointments already sync'd with the phone. Seems to be happening more and more frequently and also seems to be specific to recurring appointments (of which I have many)
Very strange

After switching out my phone with the capacitive touch button issue (and getting one with low brightness purple tint, low headphone audio, even more delayed charging indication, etc.), I've noticed several missed Outlook reminders. I don't recall whether my first 900 had the issue.
Never had this issue with 1st gen Samsung Focus, but now I rely on the Alarms app since I can't trust reminders.
Perhaps it's related to the delayed charging indication? Or maybe something is stealing cycles from reminders? Or the phone is (incorrectly) sleeping through the reminders in an effort to conserve battery life (which has been awesome in my experience).

Same issue here, the phone has been working ok for couple weeks. All calendar reminders and etc and now today, I had no reminder popup come up for any of my meeting. I rebooted the phone couple times but still nothing. Not sure what could be the issue....

it does seem to be limited to recurring appointments. And I can confirm that it is not due to the phone being in sleep mode. I was checking a flight status on the phone this morning when my laptop Outlook reminder chimed but sadly the 900 did not ![]()

This seems to be getting worse... still not seeing much related to this.
Has anyone seen a work around?

So... just an update - did the AT&T update last week. Problem still exists. Deleted the Outlook Account completely from the phone and re-added it.
Problem still exists and seems to be getting even worse!

Another update
Reloaded Outlook Email account - did not affect the issue
I spoke with Nokia support and they recommended reloading Outlook - told them that I already had. The next step was a wipe and reload of the device.
That was done and it seemed to work but again slowly more and more reminders stopped working. It starts with recurring appointments and then progressively works through until almost no appointments generate reminders. It does not appear to be connectivity or a "wake" issue - appointments do not occur even if the phone is unlocked and in use.
Next chat with Nokie - contact AT&T for a replacement. AT&T was good about it - replacement is on the way but I still think this is a software issue and not hardware.
Will post what happens
Best

Have you installed any other apps on the phone? I'm having the same issue and it seemed to start after installing the Audible app.
2012-08-03 14:19
Yes - but the only apps that are different from my Original Focus (that did not have the problem) are the Nokia Apps, Drive, Maps, Transit and Camera Extras.
And for the record - worked consistently briefly after the swap to a new phone.
Still has the issue with inconsistent reminders.
I may try the wipe one more time and be very selective on the apps - that will be a serious pain ![]()
I have had a couple of communications with Nokia support but no answer yet.

I just did the latest updates and have the same problem with meeting reminders going off 1 hour early. They display the correct time and Outlook on my PC works fine, but the phone reminders don't work correctly.

I had the same issue. I just went into the calendar items i knew had recurring reminders and turned off the reminder. saved it. turned the reminder back on and resaved it. Seems to work. I assume they had a DST issue somewhere in the version upgrade with the migration of that data.

Do you have the issue with reminders not showing up?
Thanks

Hi pgoth, I'm having the same issue with a Lumia 610. Not AT&T, based in Europe. Updated, uninstalled all apps, still it is missing ALL reminders I set up.

Interesting - mine is definitely getting worse. I have had the phone replaced and now Nokia support wants me to send the phone in but I can't be without it for any extended period of time so I am at an impasse and frustrated!

One more update on the issue and this is bizzarre - I upgraded my laptop to Windows 8 on Friday and all of my reminders were working again. Unfortunately I had to revert back to Windows 7 because of issues between VMWare and memory but it is very interesting that Windows 8 connection to the phone seemed to fix the reminders issue!
