I bought my Nokia 900 2 weeks ago and only realized that the phone does not work with the headset for handsfree using the microphone. I am able to listen to music and also hear the voice of the incoming callers, but they cannot hear what I said. At first I thought it was the problem with the Nokia headset, but it was working fine with my son's HTC OneX. Then I used the HTC One-X headset on the Lumia 900, and still have the same problem; can hear the caller's voice, but they cannot hear mine.

Is there any setting on the Lumia 900? Any one having similar problem? I need to use the headset when driving.

I've the same problem with lumia 800 headset. Headset and the problem seems to be same in Lumia 900 (tested with friend's 900 phone and headset). Voice is unuseful during call. Music plays as should, but when a call comes, its struggling and headset must be removed to answer to call. Should I bring phone to service?

Just bought mine a week ago, have the same problem, there seems to be a static /scratching sound with the headset but no problem while listening to radio or music.

Same here, Lumia 800 headset microphone totally mute. I can hear caller's voice but he doesn't hear anything.  And also my friend has the same problem with 800. An other friend had the same problem with 900 but she managed to solve that by accident, pressed some buttons but doesn't remember which ones.   I would like to have this problem solved or did Nokia deliver broken product with the phone?

Headset which has come with Lumia 800 at the same carton in Sep 2012. Original Lumia 800 package of Nokia, includes charger cable and headset. Are you claiming that Lumia customer can't use that headset without separate adaptor???? WHY  it has been delivered with the phone???
