Is anyone from Nokia monitoring this board, or is this designed so dissatisfied consumers can vent safely while nothing gets done?
I'm not the first poster to complain, here or on other forums that the Nokia Lumia 900 has a manufacturing fault which causes the speaker to fail. It will work, however, if you apply considerable pressure to a point between the Windows and Search keys, so clearly a connector / board / joint failure due to substandard manufacture and poor quality control.
That means no audible ringtone, no alarm, no speakerphone... hardly considered optional extras on a phone of this type and price.
So, Nokia, what do you propose to do about it? Mine is just two months old.
You're investing in trying to create product evangelists but by ignoring real and reasonable complaints about the quality of your product you are creating precisely the opposite.
And to think I switched to Nokia after becoming dissatisfied with other brands because I thought Nokia were serious about mobile phone technology.
Very, very disappointing.
