Hi,
Recently after upgrading my AT&T Lumia 900 to 7.8 firmware i noticed a few problem with WiFi connectivity.
1. It doesnt connect to WiFi when i am in the call. It is very annoying as i forced to switch on cellular data if i need to get something from the internet.
PS: I had both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi signals it connects to neither of them.
2. Sometimes it doesnt connect to WiFi, i need to explicitly select to connect.
Can you please address this problem?
Thank You
Ranganadh

Same problem here, except my WiFi won't connect under any circumstances now. Standing right beside the wireless router (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) still gives me "Your phone couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network xxx because there was no repsonse from the network. Please try again later" Meanwhile I have a wireless printer, a laptop, a Surface tablet, and an iPad all connected to the same wireless network!
I will be downgrading to 7.5 today and post again.

So downgrading isn't as simple as it would seem..... did a factory reset, but thta didn't do anything for me, other than wipe my data. So I guess now I will have to wait for Rogers to come out with and approve a fix for this...... hey, it's almost as bad as Apple ![]()
Too bad, I really like my Lumia

Hello Folks,
I have contacted Nokia Support regarding the WiFi issue while in call and they mentioned that it could a hardware problem hence asked to return the device for repair/replacement. Alternatively we can also goto local carrier stores and exchange if you are still in warranty. Check the status here:

Support was nice enought to give sufficient information and ask right question.
Cheers!

I had that problem with my wifi. I just changed my wifi settings as the lumia only picks up certain ones.
go to your wifi settings and adjust them till you fiind a compatable one for your device.
