There doesn't seem to be an option to disable vibration feedback on those keys. Any ideas?

I don't like it, because it is a dumb design. When we are using them, we look at it. Additional vibration is a waste of battery which is one of the most important features for a competent smart phone. Nokia should let us remove it.

It has virtually no impact on battery life as it only vibrates for a fraction of a second.

Nokia, please, please, please make a setting option enabling haptic feedback to be turned off for the back / home /search buttons on Lumia 920 etc. Surely with your aims to increase market share this must be a high priority. Be in no doubt, it's about whether actual people (not technology) like the phone, they tell their friends etc. The best advertisements are "word of mouth", that's how Facebook started. It was small, but it was attractive to people. This haptic feedback is VERY annoying. Reading around Nokia can fix this as well as Microsoft - I don't seem to see a solution here?

Please add a setting to disable this. I have litterally only had this phone for a few hours and find the little rumble EVERY time I press one of these 3 buttons to be extremely annoying.

It would have been more productive if you had followed the suggestion in Message 8 and created a profile on Microsoft's website in order to support the request for this feature there - where it will be heard by the party which can actually do something about it..

there is a way to disable the vibrate, Go Settings -> ringtones + Sounds -> change vibrate to off.
