Lumia 920 & bluetooth handsfree kit problem

My previous phone was an N8-00 & I bought a cheap handsfree sunvisor kit off Ebay as I drive a wagon for a living.

 

With the N8-00, when I had an incoming call, the phone would ring & the ringtone would come through the handfree kit as well. Same goes for text alerts or alarm.

 

Although the handsfree kit will pair & works with my Lumia 920, I get no 'ringtone' from it when a call comes through, only from the phone. The handsfree just beeps, barely!

  • Out of Band (OOB) & Near Field Communications (NFC)"

I have checked & the handfree says it is bluetooth v2.1, is this the problem or is it the 'Hands Free Profile' (I have no real idea what that means anyway lol)

 

I looked on Ebay & a quick Google search only came up with one handsfree that was bluetooth V3.1....... help?!
