Lumia 920 automatically turns on when I charge the phone.

Hi I got charging problem.

 

When I turn off the phone in order to commence a charging, the device will automatically turns on when I plug the charger in.

 

Is there anyone having the same problem with me?

Thats the way it works.. It will Switch ON while charging ...

Also note that the Alarm will not function if the phone is OFF..

..If you are putting on charge during night and do not want to be disturbed by calls / Messages..just switch to Flight mode (Settings-->flight mode ..and set ON). This will allow the Alarm to go ON as set ..

Similarly if device placed upon wireless charging plate it switches on.

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

Why do all thees "funny things" to make it work?

you can just turn sound-off and the alarm still works.

Which problem exactly do you also have ? If you mean the phone tyrning itself on when charging, that is not a problem, that is the way it works by design.
