Bluetooth problem seems to be affecting AT&T versions only. I've connected mine to 5 cars and loads of headsets with no problems.

That may be the true, I am on AT&T. I wonder if it would help if I contacted them?

I bought my Nokia 920 in Germany, the provider is KPN. I cannot connect it with my BMW 5 series 2011 except the first time, two weeks ago. Ever since the Bluetooth connection failed, whatever I tried. I had no connection problems with my Iphone4.

Unfortunately you are wrong. It affects at least Finnish version.

Wow! First Finnish variant I have seen. Which problem have you, intermittent connection or headset mode only and no contacts?

I have similar issues with my Lumia 920 with Bluetooth and phone calls.
On my 2006 Prius and my LG HBS700 headset I have the following:
-Connection works
-Phone calls are working, and then audio goes out. Still have BT connection and call works on Phone's speakers
-Audio does not come back with toggling BT or Power on/off
-After, I have connectivity issues and most times can't connect to car
-Still can connect to headset and play music but no audio for phone
-Forgetting/re-establishing pairing will sometime work but issues reoccurs
-Resetting the Phone will work but issues reoccurs
On 2011 Odyssey:
-Connection continuously cycles voice/stereo/off and does not work
I have posted youtube videos showing the problem:

Had no issues with HTC Titan or iPhone 4 with same setup.
This is my 2nd Lumia 920. This first had GPS and battery issues.

It pairs, but it is unable to connect after pairing. Phone says connected, not connected, connected, not.... And car says "Searching for bluetooth phone" and it does not find it.
BTW, seems that WP7 had bluetooth issues somewhat like this, and NoDo update 1/2011 corrected those. I hope that someone will issue some update to correct WP8 too.

I'm having bluetooth issue with my nokia 920 (US AT&T).
It will pair ok with my Nissan Murano 2010 but the call quality absolutly sucks.
it is very cracklly and you just can't understand what people are saying.
Address book wont sync either.
I also pair the phone to a home phone. The pansanoic KX-TG7742S. (Panasonic - Link-to-Cell DECT 6.0 Plus Expandable Cordless Phone
System) . Same thing. Pairs ok. Call quality is variable.
My iphone didn't have any of these issues with these devices.
My buddy has a 2009 Ford Escape. Same thing with him (he ditched an iphone as well).
Niether of us are impressed. Live in an area where we spend alot of time in traffic and they police holding a cell phone so handsfree is manadtory.
However, seems its a microsoft issue.
Hopefully a bug fix is coming in 1st quarter of 2013...

I have a 920 and a 2011 jeep wrangler with uconnect.
auto pairing seems ify with the car, and my jaybird headphones
I used to get txt to speech when I used the 900 with my jeep,
but now my uconnect says that option is not available with my phone
trying to bluetooth pair music seemed to go up and down and I notice my bluetooth settings will tell me what options are available with the pairing but they seemed to randomly change, from music, to speach or what ever. this seems really buggy but worked fine on my 900

I have a 2006 BMW X5 and have not been able to connect with my 920 or my wife's 820. My 900 which my son now has works fine as did every other win 7 and 7.5 phone that i had including samsung focus, HTC hd7s and Samsung galaxy. it is a law in my state to operate a phone hands free and i cannot use it. i am not going to buy a new X5 to get it to work, Nokia needs to adress this.
I have been looking for weeks and have not seen nokia weigh in on any of these postings, how can we get noklia's attention here

This is a user-to-user forum, if you wish to contact Nokia please use the Nokia Support link at the bottom of the page.

I have the same problem with my Volvo. Connects and then disconnects then says it can't connect. Nokia never got back to me when they said they would return my call. Finally I got an answer. This is a known bug and they say there will be a fix early 2013. Something so basic how did this get through QA.

The Lumia 920 Windows 8 phone does not work with Bluetooth connections in either of our cars. We have two 2012 Jeeps with 430N Media Center which includes uConnect Bluetooth connectivity.
For the last year we have been using the iPhone 4 with no problems.
The Lumia 920 from AT&T will successfully pair, but it is unusable for hands-free conversations. It will occasionally auto-connect, other times it doesn't (mostly not).
When it does connect, phone conversations are one-sided, meaning we can hear the other person, but they cannot hear us. Also, voice commands do not work.
I've tried lots of things to get this to work, including deleting the device pairing, and starting over. It always says that it successfully paired, but the symptoms never change.
I also called AT&T enhanced support for help. They told me that this is a known Bluetooth bug, and that we should expect a fix from Microsoft in the form a hotfix or service patch. They speculated the fix will be provided in a month or two. I wish I knew if this was true, or just a delay tactic.

We are expecting a fix the bluetooth stability issue early next year. Microsoft have not announced specific dates.

Just want to weigh in here with my experiences in Lumia 920 / 900 and Bluetooth with my VW Jetta.
I have the Fender audio system, and it (My lumia 920) connects just fine, however it also starts playing music from xbox cloud service after it connects, when the system clearly is configured to NOT AUTO PLAY the BT Audio upon connection. Microsoft says its the system, but other devices don't have this problem. It also exhibits the same behavior with the LUMIA 900, on Windows Phone 7.5
Talking to microsoft gets me no where, so if you say there's a known stability problem with bluetooth, can you point to a document, or support note somewhere?
The bad thing about this is that if you have XbM cloud service enabled on the phone, it streams over cellular even if you're not listening to it, which has already consumed my allotment for data this month and has sent me into overage territory ...NOT HAPPY....the whole XBM cloud music service is nice, but should only auto connect on WIFI Only...or allow you make the choice yourself without it going on by itself ![]()

I am using Lumia 920 for three week, Canada, wireless provider Rogers. I have problem to use bluetooth headset, there is no sound when receiving incoming calls. i tried LG BHS-700 and Nokia BH-503 stereo headsets, all have this problem.
couple hours agon, I have problem to download program from Nokia market, error code: c101a006. i restart my phone couple times, same.
Nokia made this good phone, but Windows system sucks!

It is the Microsoft Widowsphone Marketplace rather than a Nokia Market. The marketplace has been having loads of issues recently. I had same error earlier. Is this your first time downloading or have you downloaded successfully before?
