That's a question that you should ask retailers or networks because it is them that decide which colours they stock, not Nokia.

Well, I cannot see grey version with any network or retailer, in almost no country. Therefore I thought there is issue in supplies from Nokia.

Supplies of 920's are fairly limited in most countries but the reason for the grey being more limited than the others is that few networks were interested in that colour. Personally I doubt that the grey one will ever be officially available in the UK. This is not something that Nokia can answer so it's either a case of wait and hope, importing or choosing another colour.

I am waiting for grey too. In my view, this color suits the best such casing design.

With Nokia not being able to force the retailers to stock grey it was pretty pointless asking them in the first place. All you can do is wait and see if any other retailers or networks choose to stock grey once EE's exclusivity has ended.

I reckon your only hope of getting a grey one in the UK is to import it from another country. That is all that this forum and Nokia can do for you as it's out of their hands.

It was not pointless at all. I am not suggesting Nokia should force retailers to anything. But in order to sell something, retailers have to get it from the manufacturer. Because I don't consider grey colour something fancy or niche which almost nobody would buy, I am naturally surprised that it is not available globally (not only UK). It is valid to ask the manufacturer whether there is problem on their side of the supply chain or not.

I will wait and possibly buy it from abroad when it appears somewhere.

The most likely reason that retailers aren't interested in it is because they choose to stock the more standard black and white instead. They know those colours will sell so when they take a gamble on something a bit different they choose the colours instead. As said before if retailers wanted it Nokia would supply it.

Great, I will keep asking retailers for it (but currently only Clove sells unlocked handseds in UK).
