After last night my phone died, and it won't start again.

If I hold the power + camera for a while, the phone vibrates, but apart from that nothing happens.

When connected to my laptop, I hear connecting/not connecting sounds (from my laptop) when holding the power + camera button.

Apart from the vibrations the phone makes when holding the power + camera button, the phone does not react.

Anyone can help me?

Try holding the Volume down + Power + Camera buttons until the phone vibrates. Then release the power button but continue to hold the other two for approximately five seconds. Hopefully your phone will power back on but you may loose data on the phone. Hopefully you have a backup you can restore from.

The phone works again now after holding the buttons you said, thanks!

But as you said, most of the data is lost. Is there a way to regain all contacts / apps again?

The apps can be reinstalled by downloading and running an app called Reinstaller from the marketplace. 

Contacts, if you previously synched your contacts with your live account, you should be able to just resync them back.

On the bottom right hand side of the phone there is a small button. That is the camera button.
