Hi,

my default Microsoft account will not send emails, it syncs incoming mail just fine but for outgoing mail it always returns a windows phone reply saying that the message cant be sent and is saved in drafts. I tried setting a my yahoo mail acc as my default but it doesn't help either. In fact the messages are just moved to the outbox folder and stay there. No windows phone reply, nothing. Any idea how to fix this?

that sounds like a network error... does it happen over Wi-Fi too?

Or could be configuration on the phone or yahoo depending on which region your yahoo account is in.

If you go to Settings/Email and click Yahoo mail, do the settings look something like this?

Incoming email server: winmo.imap.mail.yahoo.com:993:1

Outgoing (SMTP) email server: winmo.smtp.maill.yahoo.com:465:1

Outgoing server requires authentication: Checked

Use the same user name and password for sending email: Checked

Advanced

Require SSL for incoming email: Checked

Require SSL for outgoing email: Checked

I had same issue after installing skype. So i had to reset the phone and did not bother installing skype again. Seems working fine since then. Only problems i get are overheating and lousy Facebook app.

I have the same issue in Luminary 920 with office email. Receiving email works fine but when syncing with a message in outbox I get (translated from Finnish): Problem sending email... error code 80072F30.
