Hi, Johne. I've updated my phone software (it said updated version 710.8107). But *100# is still unsuccessful. I get the msg "waiting" then after a long wait, "failed". It's very frustrating!
Hope you could help me/share/tell me what I should do.

Hello, I'm a Lumia 710 user from Malaysia. Updated my software to 7.10 8107 yesterday.
Call ending problem seems fixed. But still having problems with *100#. Out of every 5 tries, 3 are "fail" status. Even if I can access *100#, the screen appears incomplete. Can anyone tell me how to access the "Next page 01" to check for rewards, etc.? Help much appreciated.

We have just begun the software update rollout for the new Lumia 710. This update is currently available for India and Singapore Lumia 710 variants and more countries/variants will be added to the rollout based on market requests.Even if you are not getting this specific update, we can assure you that we will continue to regularly deliver software updates to our Nokia Lumia range to give our consumers both performance improvements as well as additional features.

Hi, Johne. Thanks for the response. Is your software download version 7.10 8107? Is this the confirmed LATEST rollout like the one in Singapore and India, said to be able to fix the current problems? Because the version no. is different from what is posted on this thread (8107.12070).

It's already available for some Lumia 710's in the UK. The non-network tied sim free model has already had this update, over a week ago.
If you purchased one from a networks shop you generally have to wait a bit longer. Different networks have different approval processes, some take longer than others to allow updates.

Well the guy at work I advised to get a 710 took the phone back to O2 at the weekend. Shop staff told him there was no update to fix the call hanging bug. So he is going to change his phone to a Samsung.
Needless to say I dont think he will be taking any advise from me on Nokia phone again.
Nokia really need to sort out retail staff in the UK. I am a fan of Windows Phone and Nokia and I'd hate to see either fail.

Great news, the shop didnt have the Samsung he wanted so he was told to come back in a week.
Two days ago his 710 froze again, so he had a moan about the phone across the office.
I helped him take the batter out and when we put it back in again, it said the update was available. We got the update on Zune right away and yesterday he said the phone hasn’t frozen or hung yet, and feels faster.
So he may well keep the 710. As he the loves the OS of the phone and fully grasped how to use it almost right away.
Well done Nokia, I know it must be hard to keep everyone happy.

Hello... I would like to know if the update has been successful in Bangalore. I plan to buy the phone and was hoping the bug fix is available so that i dont run into issues... so what do i do?buy the phone and then give it to nokia care to sort it out???

HI I am from South Africa. Has been waiting for this software update(Intetnet sharing Option) eagerly.
But i am un able to install this software update. Always getting an error when i am trying to install this update from Zune software as " We couldn't connect to the Update service.Disconnect and reconnect your phone,make sure your computer has an internet connection,then try installing the update again.80072EE2." But
1) My Internet connect is working fine.
2) I have restarted phoen and checked
3) I have re-installed my Zune software and tried.
4 I have disconnected and re-connected the phaone and tried.
neigher of above gave good result.
Please help by answering this, wheter this software has been released in South Africa or not?. I purchaged this phone in India and looking for this update in South Africa. Can i know in which countries this software has been released and any plans to roll out this software in South Africa if it is not availble as of now.?

Thanks NOKIA ! - Now i can use my 710 with Internet Sharing Option !! , it could not come fast enough , I tell you , I nearly shelved the phone because this feature was missing . Now its working perfectly , Thnakyou team
