@FinSteve
Country Variant-Unlocked not tied to operator.. You understood that
But as you mention to of the model numbers still say 'waiting for approval' as it has no operator to approve this seems like it's being staggered by Nokia themselves.

@newneotoo
It was brought via phones4u (i'm informed that means it's unlocked), the model number shows it as a country variant, not an o2 one.
So I'm guessing I actually waiting on Nokia to push the update out & not o2 to my IMEI. I would love to know who actually is allows the update.

Well... this patch did not solve my "black screen when trying to end a call" (see here: /t5/Nokia-with-Windows-Phone/Can-t-end-a-call-in-l
Hope there will be another patch for this patch soon...

Nokia & Microsoft needs to work a lot to fix the issue. Lumia has become a test phone for the users. There is no perfection in the Windows 7.5. I feel Belle phones are much better.
Nokia should think on staying on to Meego.. So that they can do better in market.
Customers are not happy with Windows Phones. Lot of things are still incomplete & feel in mature OS to realy on.
Nokia please come up with Meego phones

@ivvine I ust disagree Windows Phone users are not upset. It is early days for the OS and as with any early adopters you are gonna come across issues that are fixed as they crop up.
iOS and Android have been through this so it really isn't fair to compare them - this s typical of the we want it and we want it now mentality of today.
Personally I think the WP OS is great and modern looking with it's metro design. It's horse for courses really I suppose but don't sy we are all hating it when we are not.

In general Smart phones' battery life is less when compared to other phones.
Please follow the guidelines, how to reduce the battery drain.

At 11500 i had the following issues:
1: Audio click between songs when changing songs in the musicplayer. Both on swipe and on back and forth on buttons.
2: Shutter noise from the lens when shifting from videocamera to camera. Sometimes when looking thru pictures. The noise also appears everytime i back out of the camera app.
3: Camera has focus issues, especialy in video. Most pictures come out green or yellowish.
4: Jumpy behaviour when charging. When i hold a finger on the app list, it rocks back and forth, shaking. If i take the AC out, it stops.
After 12070 i got these to follow:
5: Ringtone at max volume the first 2 seconds, after that, the volume it is set at. If Volume is at 1 itm rings at full power first sequence.
6: When the audio is on for dialing (typing). Everytime i go and wanna type a phone number. the 2 first digits make a crunchy sound and they're often delayed according to touch. If i open the dialer and wait a sec, its all fine. Its like the audio isnt ready. The wait does so that the 2 first digits sometime come in last second.
7: Even on 12070 (incl hard reset) i can get maximum 21 hours of battery, with no wifi, 3g only, lowest brightness and no games and no music. This is the biggest problem. I cannot believe it.
Nokia! Please fix this! I realy cannot believe that my Lumia 800 can be called a high-end phone when these are issues present and growing. I am extremely tired of it! (Especially after having it away for repairs for 17 days and then getting it back stating solved, but it was the same!).
Or i will have to tell youtube how bug no.5 almost contributed to me getting hurt maybe even killed. (not a joke).
My old Samsung Omnia 7 had none of these issues. Not that i want that back, but just saying.... I want to love my Lumia ![]()

I'm not sure when was the 11207 update released here in Malaysia but i just have my Lumia updated and the music playback is enjoyable now.
Have yet to tried out the battery life yet but i am not expecting it to last for 1 week on standby, be happy if managed to squeeze more or less 16hours on 3G.
Will check back but in the meantime, super pleased.
