It should show that an update is available.

Battery life at 60% now and now shows over 2 days left, it's never shown 2 days since I've had it!

Worked. Marketplace didn't show "updates available" when logging in though?

Now i'll just wait for the firmware update.. Upnp-native support would be nice, tethering too in near future.

I had the prompt this morning telling me there was an update, worked perfectly. I have a sim free Lumia 800 given to me by the Amazing Collective.

I've updated last week my Lumia 800 and tonight, while I was sleeping and the phone charging (original charger), it has died. The alarm, of course, didn't sound this morning and I arrived late to work.

I've just installed the update.  Previously I'd get 12 hours out of the phone with GPS and WiFi turned off  with very little useage (maybe an hour talk time, some email + SMS).  The Lumia 800 is a joke of a phone.

First Nokia in years and definitely my last for years to come. Lets hope this update might let my lumia surive til the weekend before being binned.

After the update the phone is better. I posted earlier that my phone is turning off automatically but I didn't see that behaviour again. My phone is working fine and battery life is very good. Hope the later updates will not screw the current battery performance. However the battery status missing issue is still present in the device.

Does anyone knows if a Hard reset could improve the battery situation ?
I have the latest firmware but Iam still getting only 12 hours, with 2 emails sycronizing every hour, bluetooth on, whatsapp, 1 hour of music. Thanks for any help

I think my battery life improved dramatically when I used the latest Network Setup. Before I used to get 12-16h, now I get 20-25h.

And FYI - No new firmware in USA as of this writing

I stopped using whatsapp because it eats through my battery like mad, and I have facebook\msn integrated directly to the os, so I don't see any reason to use whatsapp anyway.

Got the update today in Germany (Vodafone). And now I can see in Diagnostic-BatteryStatus a value of "current discharging" with 70mA!!! Before the update it was always 140mA or higher. It seems that something happens...

From 130 to 90 mA -_- If end call issue won't appear again I will be totally satisfied with this phone =]

Even after this update my wifes phone STILL shows a "?" where it should show battery level. Also all the measurements in the battery diagnostics show blank!

This happened immediately after a firmware update months ago.

This phone is junk!

Just checked for update and there it is....UK, Vodafone, Black Lumia 800, updated over zune no probs so far, will keep you updated.
