Nokia Drive, fine but what about offline Walk navigation

Re-posting this as it was moved without any explanation: Would be nice with a comment from a Nokia representative on the subject. Loved the navigation walk application on my old N97. Nokia Lumia's Drive works ok, however I'm missing the walk part as we had in the symbian version. Any chance we will have this back in W7 on the Lumia 800 in the near future? Tried to search for posts on this subject without any luck. Re-direct me if it exists somewhere!

BUMP!

I have the same wish...for my trusty walking route suggestion that used to be aavailable on ovi maps to be available here on the Lumia.

And while we are at it...please show me a way to transfer the favorite spots I had on ovi maps to Nokia drive.

I think many users would find this feature extremely useful. I certainly would!

AFAIK, the maps team are working hard to impliment the full functionality that exists in the Symbian Maps Suite into the Lumia, the latest update has bought a fair bit, and I believe walking instructions and 'safety Camera' warnings will come soon :smileyhappy:

If I have helped at all, a click on the White Star is always appreciated :

you can also help others by marking 'accept as solution:smileyhappy:

I'd like to see some other details too, like the ability to store favourites, and points of interest, navigate to contacts (from the address book), be able to control music from within the app, fade music when announcements are made etc.

Not sure if these pieces of functionality are available in the Symbian version, or not.

In my opinion this is the most import feature of the whole Nokia Maps Suite.

Please release this as soon as possible!
