I have Nokia Lumia 900 running Windows Mobile 7.5. The Nokia Drive running on it is 3.1.0.3206. It had been working great for me till 10 days back. Suddenly whenever I open the application and tap "Set destination", the app shuts down. The Nokia Drive then needs to be restarted.

 

It seems to have something to do with the destinations. The same behavior is also witnessed when I try to “Clear history” using Settings >> Clear history.

 

In appears that the app on my cell phone does not like number of destinations stored, or a specific destination. Does anyone know about this issue and it’s resolution? If yes, please share the fix for it. Thanks.

Is this connected via bluetooth in car?

No, it is not connected to Car via Bluetooth. In fact, it happens all the time, whether bluetooth is on or not

Have you tried removing the app from the phone then reinstalling it from the market place? Also reinstall the maps too.

Thanks psychomania!

 

I was hoping not to uninstall-install as I would lose all the maps of the US, Canada, and India, which would need to be reinstalled. However, chatted with Nokia live support chat. The reinstalling was the solution given to me, which I did and after that the app is working great.

 

The support was prompt and very helpful. The app is very helpful. I used it in India and the details covered are superb.

did u loose all your favourites destinations after reinstalling it again?
