Re: Nokia Lumia 520 Straight Talk APN settings.

The Internet and MMS settings should come up if they are known in Settings>access point but you may need to tap the settings to activate. If they're not there you can enter them manually. The manual settings should be found on the operator website in general.

Re: Nokia Lumia 520 how remove APN settings

Recently bought Lumia 520 and would like to remove the APN Settings manually, however, I cannot find a possibilty to do so. I can view the settings but not remove them. So, I am wondering if they can be removed at all? Would be grateful if someone could give me some expert advice.

Nokia Lumia 1020 Straight talk APN settings

Hi, I just got an unlocked Nokia Lumia 1020, but can't seem to get the APN settings right for straighttalk internet access. MMS is working, though. I tried to download Access point from the windows phone store: it showed up briefly in my apps on the phone, but then disappeared, and I've tried downloading it again, but nothing happens. At first I thought maybe my phone wasn't really unlocked, but then how could I use the phone with straigh talk and get MMS? I go to system settings, then cellular, (with the name of HOME), click on the "edit internet apn" box, and type in "wap.tracfone" in the APN box. All other fields (username, password, proxy server URL, proxy port) I leave blank. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Nokia Lumia 520 Straight Talk APN settings.

I am havng this same issue. The APN settings you provided are not working. The phone is WP8 and a Nokia Lumia 520 for AT&T. I've used AT&T Locked phones on Straight Talk for years and always the data/mms works... this time it is not.

If I go to Settings;Cellular; the options are as follows:

Active Network= HOME

Data= ON

ROAMING= DON'T ROAM (also tried RAOM)

edit internet apn:

edit mms apn:

Can anyone give a step-by-step with the EXACT process they used?

Re: Nokia Lumia 520 Straight Talk APN settings.

APN: tfdata
User name: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
WAP gateway (URL): mms3.tracfone.com
WAP gateway port: 80
MMSC (URL): http://mms-tf.net/
MMSC port: 80
Maximum MMS size: (leave blank)

I have had this same issue for over a month and straight talk was zero help at all.. Did some digging online and found these settings tried it and worked perfectly!! Just go to edit MMS APN Settings and delete the current settings. Phone takes you back to previous screen automatically. The option changes to add MMS APN Settings. Click there and put in these settings above. Works perfectly fine now. Hope everyone has the same outcome

Re: Nokia Lumia 520 Straight Talk APN settings.

FOR NOKIA LUMIA 520 WITH WINDOWS 8:

Go to Settings (looks like a cog)

Make sure Wi-Fi is OFF

Scroll down to Cellular (mine says ATT, some peoples say HOME)

Make sure data connection is ON

For data roaming I picked roam, don't know if that matters but it works

Scroll to bottom and click on EDIT MMS APN:

click the delete button (looks like a trash can on mine)

this gets rid of your current settings if there are any ... then REBOOT phone

Then go back to the same place and do ADD MMS APN:

Here are the fields and entries you'll need:

APN: tfdata
User name: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
WAP gateway (URL): mms3.tracfone.com
WAP gateway port: 80
MMSC (URL): http://mms-tf.net/
MMSC port: 80
Maximum MMS size: (leave blank)

Now DO THE SAME THING FOR INTERNET APN

The fields and entries you'll need, after you delete what's there and reboot:

APN: STRAIGHT_TALK (do it just like this with the underscore between the two words)

User Name: STRAIGHT_TALK (do it just like this with the underscore between the two words)

Password: (leave blank)

Proxy server (URL): (leave blank)

Proxy port: (leave blank)

Thank the Lord this worked for me after MUCH LOOKING AROUND AT ANNOYING MISINFORMATION
