Nokia Lumia 710 touch touch screen problem, please help

Hello! The problem consists of the following:

It's been 3 months since I bought my Nokia Lumia710 and a few days ago the whole right side of the display just stopped working out of nowhere. I have NOT dropped it EVER, nor have i poured water on it or anything, it's completely brand new since I have a second phone I havent even used it much except for internet browsing.

So, since it's in warranty I went to the store and sent it to a service. Today they called me and I went to take it back and when I came home and turned it on guess what. It WASNT working agian, the whole right part (like 1cm wide) of the display from the top to the bottom - not wroking. On the protocol from the service it said "display is changed, the system is pre-set". Fine. But the phone is not repaired. So I took it back to the store and they gave it back to the service.

My question here is - first : what may cause the right side of the display to stop working? Can it be some kind of a factory bug or flaw?

Second - if it's a factory flaw then should I insist that they gave me a new device?

I am not amused right now.

You can ask them for replacement if you bought it with warranty.

However, if you accidentally damaged your phone for, let say, drop it into the water, the warranty may be void, thus you have to pay again for any purchase or repairment.

Re: Nokia Lumia 710 touch touch screen problem, please help

As I pointed out clearly I have not damaged the phone in any way :smileyhappy:

I guess, if it's not fixed again I'll just tell them to either give me a new one or give me my money back
