hi ! I would like to know if the Lumia 800 is still available out there ..also..is the wp7 phone still a smart option?

i chckd d fon in a nearby store..they said that it is no more in production...so the online stores provide old stock..they also warned me abt the battery backup..i need atleast 1 day with normal use..nw im confused..shud i go ahead & buy it frm the online store?? (its available in flipkart.com) plz help

I get an easy three days out of a charge with Mobile data, Wi-Fi and location services always on.

I never got past about 20 hours when I used it as my main phone and that was with minimal use , no live background applications ever, data and wifi off unless I wanted to use internet / check mail and then switched off after I'd used them, location permanently off and Bluetooth permanently off. I didn't play games on the phone and use an mp3 player to listen to music. Actually using the phone to browse / read Kindle on a train from Edinburgh to London once starting on a full charge drained it so much I had to put it on the free chargers in the first class waiting room at Euston . I suppose I could have kept it plugged in on the train's sockets during the journey but I hadn't even been using it for the whole journey and it started fully charged.

It now sits doing absolutely nothing and will live for about 6 days.

Same here but between 2-3 days in my case. Still fairly decent compared to my other smartphones.

hey guys!! now iam confused between the Lumia 620 and the 800 (not 820) !! plz help me out to choose between the 2 ! 620 has a TFT screen, dual core, & above all its wp8! also its cheaper than 800...nw shud i move 4wrd with the 800?? still i like the style and clas of 800... i will get the fon within 2 weeks..plz help! cheers

It will never be released in India. The 810 is a version of the 820 handset specifically modified for and exclusively available on T-Mobile USA.

The 620 is a super little phone,as fast as the 920 and its priced well.
If your under a budget the 620 is ideal,if you can spend more the 820 is the one.

but 820 doesnt hav an AMOLED gorilla screen 620 has an LCD screen......810 was a grt fon..dual core,,win8,,,1gb ram,,,

a final question! shud i go forward and buy the 2 yr old single core win7.5 lumia 800 or shud i choose the newly launched dual core win8 LCD screen lumia 620?? i personally like the 800 but is a bit skeptical about its obsolete features!

The 620 it's super and value for money, plus it's as fast as a 920

The 720 won't be in India this week it's just been announced, you mean the 620 I hope. Anyway enjoy this nice phone.

anyway im gonna get the 720.....it lacks AMOLED display, 1 gb ram etc etc..but i think its best suited for me
