Nokia Lumia 800 - Silent text alert with vibration.

Hi,

I can't figure out how to make the text alert tone on my phone silent, but still vibrate. I was using a very very basic phone before being given this one for Christmas, and it was possible on that. Maybe I'm just being dense, but I can't seem to find any way to make this possible. Could anyone help?

You can simply use the volume toggle and press down.

That will turn the ringer off as well. I assumed OP was looking to have texts silent and vibrate , not necessarily calls and texts, but possibly he meant both.

Yes, it was just the texts to be silent I was looking for. I found an option for no text sound, but that turns the vibrate off also.
