yes, only if you purchase the optional back cover that allows it to charge that way.

it makes the device a tad bit wider...

it has a wireless coil in the backing that connects to two prongs on the device which is how it charges the 810.

you should be able to purchase this separately from tmobile.

Wrong.  While the 810 is indeed capable of wireless charging and Near Field Communication (NFC), without the optional "back" this is impossible.  But since neither Nokia usa nor T-Mo usa sell this back, you can't use these functions.  I presume since Nokia usa sells the wireless stands and speakers, they will have to make this back available.  But they won't say.  However they must know those stands are useless without the back... which they do not sell. 

The main drag here is the runaround you get from Nokia when you call and ask for this option.  They'll tell you T-Mo has it... and T-Mo tells you Nokia does.

Thanks. The parts are not avail. So it currently cannot be used for this purpose. But what I find offensive is the runaround. In fact Nokia usa had the nerve to tell me I could find the back on Amazon. I also find it a tiny bit offensive that Nokia usa is also selling the charging stands... that you currently cannot use with the phone.

I'm following up on this as well. My local T-Mobile store is supposed to be getting some information on the wireless charging backs tomorrow. I'll update here if I get any news on this

I apologize for the delay in updating this thread. I was able to pick up two cyan wireless charging shells from a T-Mobile store today and I was also able to pick up a Nokia wireless charging stand from a Microsoft store. I have my Lumia 810 on the stand now via NFC and everything is working great I can't tell you how many calls I made to both local T-mobile stores and the 800 numbers in order to find these but I can finally call this a success. Anyone know where to get a JBL powerup charging speaker? What about the Fatboy pillows?

Ok, here is the deal. I found the NOKIA Wireless Charging Shell (CC-3063) from a high volume T-mobile store. You can contact the nearest store and ask for the product, and if they don't carry it, ask for the nearest high volume store in your area.

Visiting T-mo's site and contacting customer service will not yield any results. In fact, I was lucky enough to speak to someone in the store over then phone that was aware of product, but that doesn't guarantee that the person that will assist you in the store is aware of the product, let alone is knowlegable about the wireless charging capability of the phone, so keep your eyes open, and search the store for the shell. They should be co-located with the DT910 wireless charging station.

The shell comes in Black of Cyan, and it cost $40.

I apologize for the delay......the part/SKU info = SUPM39107. Type the SKU info into the search @ the T-Mobile website and the shell description should populate, (I just tried this and it works!)

The Cyan SUPM39107 shell doesn't seem to exist on T-Mobile anymore.  A couple days ago I was on the phone with T-Mobile and she was sure she had found one, but when it shipped, I recieved a black one.    The last one that was on eBay sold for almost twice its retail price.  I really hope Nokia makes more cyan wireless charging shells for the Lumia 810 soon.
