Although the Lumia 900 doesn't have NFC it is still compatible with the Luna (I have used a Luna with the Lumia 800 and it worked well). The 900 will pair with the Luna as you would with any other bluetooth headset rather than using the NFC pairing method. The same applies to the play 360 speakers and other nokia NFC bluetooth accessories. So Nokia is correct in stating that those accessories are compatible with the Lumia 900.
Officially the Lumia 900 does not have an NFC chip and Nokia will not comment on whether it has an unused chip hidden inside until it is ready to use it. Personally I don't think it has one.
